马术体验

With the warm sunshine, the first grade children left for their first horse-riding activity! As they entered the Equestrian centre, the children were excited to see a strong horse on the practice ground. "Can I feed the horse?" "Can I ride a horse?" The children chirped around the coach. "Of course." The coach took the children into the stable and introduced the horses' age, height, variety, eating habits and so on. Then, each child experiences horse feeding under the guidance of the coach. Finally, the most anticipated riding part of the children came. Although a little nervous at first, with the sound of hooves echoing around the practice ground, they set off, all students having a great time.

迎着和煦的阳光，一年级的小朋友们启程啦！刚进马场，看到一匹匹健壮的马儿在场内奔跑，孩子们兴奋不已。“我可以喂马吗？”“我可以骑马吗？”孩子们在教练周围叽叽喳喳地询问着。“当然啦。”教练带着孩子们走进了马厩，介绍了马儿的年龄、身高、品种，还有它们的饮食习惯等等。随后，每一个小朋友在教练的指导下体验喂马。最终，孩子们最期待的骑马环节终于来了。虽然一开始有些紧张，但伴随着达达的马蹄声，他们开始慢慢享受与马儿相处的时刻。

课题研究促成长

Congratulations! Two education projects of Brilliant Light School have been approved in Shijiazhuang. One is a study into learning abilities, the other is STEM. On April 8, Xianghua, professor of BNU, Liming Zhu, postdoctoral research station staff of ECNU and Xiaomei Zhao, professor of HNU were invited to share in our school. Crystal Li and Olivia Xie gave a detailed report about the background, content and methods of the research. The 3 experts gave feasibility guidance about key points. The project group will put the research into practice, explore a complete teaching system to improve students' learning ability in addition to STEM curriculum system focused on improving students’ growth.

最近学校喜报频传，我校两个课题获得石家庄市科研立项，一是学习力研究，二是STEM课程建设。4月8日，北京师范大学教授项华，华东师范大学博士后科研工作站教授朱立明，河北师范大学教授赵笑梅作为导师，参与了课题开题报告会。Crystal Li，Olivia Xie两位老师就课题研究的背景、内容、方法等作了详细的汇报；三位专家分别对课题开题汇报要点逐项进行了可行性指导。“教而不研则浅，研而不教则止。”课题组将把课题研究落到实处，探究提升学生学习力的完整教学体系与STEM课程体系，助力学生发展。

Teachers, parents and students are shocked by the double reduction policy. Under the policy, how can teachers promote teaching? How to improve students’ EQ and IQ? Yanmin Liang, party branch secretary of Institute of Chinese Language, Culture International Education Faculty, vice president of Chinese Education Research Institute, was invited to share his insights to our teachers. Although it’s online meeting, the discussion was extremely enthusiastic! We do believe that every teacher can improve their teaching ability through research activities, and output higher quality teaching for students!
